Later she went to St. Xavier's College, Mumbai to obtain a degree in Bachelor of Arts (BA) with a major in English Literature. Later she joined a modeling academy and did modeling for some years. Her mother is a school principal while her father is a senior branch manager in a bank. Her sister is an associate producer at a TV channel.
Before getting her big break and ticket to Hollywood she was working on a travel show and doing some advertising campaigns.
